Discourse in Organizations (DiO) is organizing a workshop on death row discourse. Drawing on their 2008 Discourse & Society paper, Andreas Schuck (Amsterdam University) and Janelle Ward (Erasmus University Rotterdam) will discuss and reflect on how they analyzed discursive functions in transcripts of inmates’ final words. There will be plenty of time for discussion. And coffee.
