The perversion of online music DRM

I buy most, if not all of my music online. On iTunes. I used to think the iTunes selection was okay, but my skin crawls when iTunes tells me I cannot purchase an album of my choice because my “account is only valid for purchases in the Belgian iTunes store”. And worse, sharing music has become next to impossible. My missus is a Mac user, I’m a PC user by institutional affiliation. As such, we cannot share our iTunes music collection unless we burn a cd, rip the songs we want and upload them. DRM-free music files? I’m all ears. (comic by xkcd.com)
