Ride the winds of change

Any triathlete knows that wheels are the porn of bike specs. There’s the absurd price tag of Lightweight, the prestige of Corima, the ultra sleek look of the 2009 Mavic Carbone SLR and then comes Zipp – the ultimate in tri bike porn. A new player on the carbon wheel market is Zefiro. They offer Zipp technology at half the price. This sounds too good to be true, and, based on the first reviews, it is. Nevertheless, if you’re in the market for (somewhat) affordable carbon wheels, then I suggest you take a good look at these puppies.

zefiro makes quality wheels or at least cheaper than the others for a similar quality. the hubs are american classic and the rims are not the same as zipp or corima but depending of the profil, with a weight between 350 and 450. they are cheaper because rims and hubs are made in taiwan and assembled with the name zefiro.
