If you ever find yourself in Oxford looking for a pool, head for the Iffley Road Sports Centre. The Rosenblatt pool is a lap swimmer’s dream. Flexible opening hours, clean lockers and friendly staff who supply floaters. What’s more, the pool lanes are organized into slow, medium and fast lanes, with clockwise and anti-clockwise swimming directions. Brilliant. The pool manager got me a sweet deal on swim vouchers, just for good measure.
